How to calculate the problem!

–>

1) subtract the selling price from the cost

28-16=12 <~ that's the markup


2) take the markup price and divide it by the original cost then move the decimal two places to the right

12/16=0.75=75% <~ that's the percent increase/markup


3) if your trying to find the markdown and the percent decrease you do the same thing
