How is X-Rays used in society?

Radiography- Detects bone fractures, certain tumors and other abnormal masses.


Mammography- A radiograph of the breast that is used for cancer detection and diagnosis.


CT- combines traditional x-ray technology with computer processing to generate a series of cross-sectional images of the body that can later be combined to form a three dimensional X-Ray images. It gives doctors the ability to view structure with in the body from many different angles.


Fluoroscopy- is a fluorescent screen to obtain real-time images of movement within the body. Such as a beating heart, view blood flow to heart muscle as well through blood vessels and organs.
