- King Hammurabi: The king of Babylonia, wrote Hammurabi's Code,

- Thales of Miletus: known as the first western philosopher, and may have studied things such as mathematics, cosmology, and astronomy in Babylonia

- Pythagoras: developed his famous mathematical theorem based off of a Babylonia model
