The Battle of Saratoga is known to be the Turning point of the Revolutionary War. This is true because this was the first American victory of the American Revolutionary War.
The Battle of Saratoga was able to show the French that small colonies like the Americans can fight for victory against big army's like The Great Britain. Once this battle was a victory to the Americans, and once this showed the French that they could win the Revolutionary War. The French agreed to be an Ally with the Americans.
