One procedure in the food industry that is not enforced enough is the need for workers to wear hair nets. Only workers with shoulder length hair must wear a hair net, but anyone's hair could fall out at any length. Therefore the law should state ALL workers need to wear hair nets, because hair in your food is ew.
Another procedure in the food industry that is not strict enough would be the storage of food. Food is stored 6" from the ground to keep it safe from splashes. Splashes can't really be measured, because for all we know a splash could go 10". These splashes are not healthy and probably contain harsh chemicals that could lead to many diseases.
