• Most women don't experience symptoms, but when they do its vaginal discharge, odor, abnormal consistency of vaginal fluid, abnormal vaginal color, vaginal pain and burning, and complications during pregnancy.

• When diagnosing, exclude serious infections such as STD's, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia.

• Metronidazole pills or vaginal gel, Vaginal Clindamycin (cream), or Tinidazole (antibiotic) are all treatments used for Bacterial Vaginosis.

- Probiotics have been attempted but results are found inconsistent.
