Cultural acceptance

Some methods and strategies for promoting cultural awareness are:

- Starting multicultural clubs at school

- Creating informal videos and presentations on cultures

- Inviting friends to churches, temples, etc.

Statements found in my research that affirm the need for cultural acceptance:

- Culture is the basis of how we live and function. Without acceptance, we are making others feel as if they are doing something wrong, when in reality there is no right way to live. Each culture has its strengths that deserve to be shared with society. It is unfair to discriminate someone based on their background. In the end, we are all human and all equal.

What is at stake if society chooses to discriminate other cultures:

- Cultures could be lost due to the lack of appreciation

- We will never learn the influences that culture has made on our society

- It could cause people to lose confidence and faith in something they are dedicated to
