External/Internal Challenges

The Normans and Capetians faced troubles from the vassals who wanted independent policies or to gain mo power for themselves. The two dynasties also fought each other a lot since the Normans would sometimes try to expand their land into France. They were however able to come up with a feudal monarchy that had reasonably good government and kept both vassals and lords happy.
