* The author did a wonderful job at putting so much vivid details and real emotions into this book.

* Just thinking about what the Jews had to go through brings tears to my eyes. This book is definitely one of the most emotional stories I have ever read. If you are look for a tear jerker than read " The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas.
