*Sunlight- the UV rays the T cells die slowing skin turnover and reduces skin inflammation.
~Light Therapy~
*UVB therapy- done in sessions with small amounts of ultraviolet light along with moisturizers.
*Photochemotherapy- patient takes light sensitivity medication before test is performed. This therapy with light will penetrate deeper in the skin then UVB and helps UVA penetrate easier.
~Oral/Injected~
*Methotrexate- decreases the production of the skin cells and suppresses inflammation.
*Stelara, Humira, Enbral- injections for those who's bodies failed to respond to topical/oral treatments or associated psoriatic arthritis.
