Sadly he died in 2013 in a horrifying tornado. The tornado just touched down near Tim, and his brother not realizing that it was just right by their side, the tornado took advantage of this and made their car fly a couple hundred yards. There was nothing they could do but scream! After a few seconds in the air the car fell, crashing taking Tim, and his brother's life. When I got news that Tim was dead I was shocked, I thought to myself that this can't be true. Tim is the safest storm chaser I know, something had to of happened.
