Mass Tourism

A. Throughout history, people/groups traveled from place to place because of two main reasons: leisure and travel.

B. The contributions of Thomas Cook and Karl Baedeker regarding the tourism industry was that Thomas Cook established the first travel agency and Karl Baedeker exploited the economic potential of tourism.

C. Traveling throughout the world exposes travelers to different cultures, languages, clothes, foods, religions, ect.
