Together we may struggle

but without you all I feel is pain.

Sometimes I may seem confused

but there is one thing that will never change.

The feelings I have for you don't fade or go away.

They continue to grow stronger each day with every kiss.

Life without you is something I can't imagine.

From within my soul, it's you I'd miss.

I understand this world more then you may know.

I could believe in fate and put up a fight.

Family Friend Poems

I picked this poem because it describes the relationship between Juana and Kino. Kino and Juana are out through many struggles together as a couple, but stick together through it all. They face losing there child. Even after they had lost Coyotito they stayed together, Juana didn't leave. They faced everything together and rough through it all. Juana was always there by Kino's side, she was the strongest out of the whole book. She lost her only son and never left her husband, she could have left and saved her baby but she stayed and risked everything.
