Shrek is a movie about an ogre who lives in a swamp. He is annoyed by the animals and people that bother him every day, so he accepts a quest to rescue a princess. Donkey goes on is quest with him, and Shrek eventually becomes friends with Donkey because of how loyal he is. They rescue the princess together, and Shrek falls in love with her. Donkey also falls in love with the dragon.
