Impressions

Impressions can be both individual and class evidence. Shoe prints and tire treads can come from multiple sources unless there are specific characteristics pertaining to them, like wear marks or slits. If a shoe print has a wear mark on its heel, then that shoe can come from one shoe only. Palm prints, bite marks, and fingerprints are individual evidence because they can only come from one source.
