Festival and celebration

We have a lot of celebrations,some are:Chinese new year,Moon cake festival,Dragon boat festival,Qingming festival,Chongyang festival,Lantern festival.

Chinese New Year:Chinese new year is a very important festival for the Chinese. During the festival there will be fireworks,lanterns and everybody will wear red because in Chinese belief there was a monster called Nian and is scared of all this,so people do this in Chinese New Year to shoo him away.

Moon cake festival:Moon cake festival is related to the legend called Chang e. During that time everybody will eat moon cake while watching the moon .

Dragon boat festival:The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional holiday that commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar Qu Yuan . The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunisolar calendar.

Qingming festival:Qingming festival is a festival for the dead in which you go to the grave of the dead and give flowers and food.
