A. Why was the monsoon season so important to farmers in the Indian River Basin?
It was important because it supplied fresh water to the crops of the farmers. It was essential that the crops got enough water as this was the way of the farmers getting money and therefore supplying food and taxes to the country. This water helped the lands fill with crops that flourished.
