SHORT BIOGRAPHY FACTS

Erwitt was born in Paris, France, to Jewish-Russian immigrant parents.His first 10 years he spent in Italy, but fascism mad his family to leave the country and in 1938 Erwitt moved to America. In 1939, when he was ten, his family immigrated to the United States. There he ran mad after light painting and studied photography and cinematography in Los-Angeles and New York, finishing his education in 1950. In 1951 he was drafted into the Army, where his career as a photographer started. Now he is 88,basing in New York,USA but constantly traveling around the world.
