We had a fantastic time together at Big Island Lake! While we spent a lot of time in the curriculum, we also had fun together.

I found out quickly that 'the teacher' could easily become 'the student' in other areas, and all of us enjoyed this adventure.

From engaging in sports to taking part in cultural events, the adults and myself had a chance to bond as a group. This opened doors to connect curriculum to real-world situations - which often crossed paths.

Today, we keep in touch digitally and I still have a chance to help 'my students' - and they still have a chance to help me.
