Summarizing and Note taking

Apple’s Note App allows you to type notes or use your finger or stylus to draw a diagram or write on the note. You can also take or insert photos into your notes. Notes using the draw feature are saved as .jpg files and can be inserted into other programs.

Within the iBook app you can open an ebook or pdf document and highlight text or comment on an area of text. This could allow for a group reading activity as well as practice highlighting and commenting on a text.

Liquid Text allows you to open a pdf file, then select pieces of text that you can drag to the note area. Once the section of text is in the note area you can add your comments.
