Great Day

Warren Martin

This image represents “Great Day” because the song talks about God building up Zion’s Walls. I see God’s power to form walls of rock and push them as if they were miniscule stones. The song “Great Day” reminds me of God’s greatness and how small I am compared to that.

Four to Seven Part Harmony

The challenge in this piece lies in the polyphony and the balance between unbridled shouts of joy and control near its end. There isn’t one day where this piece doesn’t resonate with me and doesn’t make me feel joy and hope for a brighter future.
