Life During the Revolution

The War Begins

-Americans found themselves on different sides of the conflict: Loyalists and Patriots.

-The conflict presented dilemmas for others groups as well.

-Many colonists remained loyal to the British.

-Battle of Saratoga and Valley Forge.

-Problems with the troops’s payment.

-The demands of war also affected civilians.

-African Americans were favoured since they could escape to freedom.
