Why It Would Work

Opposing Viewpoints and Rebuttals

Argument 1:
Too much public say!
Rebuttal:
Things would be worse without public say. Also, the people have more say in election than actual lawmaking. Plus, if the public is divided on if a leader is good or bad, a WELL-THOUGHT OUT presentation will be accepted for consideration by the council; not just anyone blasting their opinion.

Argument 2:
Corruption is too easy!
Rebuttal:
Corruption is easy in any government. Plus, special precautions are taken to avoid corruption. For example, council members cannot vote, the public can propose to force a leader to step down, and the public has a say in who an be a part of council.
