Instruments
-Anglung is an instument made out of bamboo. It produces a vibrating sound and we play it by shaking it.
-Calung is played by hitting on the rod of the joints which are bamboo tubes.
-Rebana is a round, drum shaped and flat. There is a circular frame made of woodturner.
-Bedug is a like a drum. This instrument has been used for thousands of years. A Bedug is made of a log from a large palm tree and it is approximately one meter or more...When beaten the sound can be heard in the distance.
-Sasando is an instrument that comes from the island of Rote. The main part of the Sasando is commonly made out of bamboo.
-Rebab is a type of stringed instrument. It almost looks like a guitar but the base is round.
-There are many more instruments used in Indonesian music like the Gangsa, Kepyak, Kroncong, Moko drum, Sapeh, and the Slentho.
