BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A toucan baby does not look like its parents. It has a broad flat beak and bare red skin. For the first 3 weeks of a toucans life its eyes are tightly shut. They also only have a few fluffy feathers covering their body. To care for their young both adults go out getting fruits, insects, and sometimes even lizards for the baby to eat. The adults also help out around the nest by cleaning waste and garbage and throwing it out with their beaks. Also at least one of them sleeps in the nest with the child to keep it warm.

Predator Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A toucan has quite few predators that my book speaks of. One is the eagle and the other is a weasel which mostly only eats a toucans eggs. A toucan stays in the leafy green trees so that predators from above cannot get them.
