Facts about save the children

-Save the children delivered community based health care to more than 6.6 million newborns and 7.3 million children under the age of 5 in 2010.

Hurricane sandy devastated the east coast in October 2012. Save the children  mobilized the staff and resources for children providing protection in emergency shelters.

Save the children reached out to more than 150,000 kids with literacy problems due to the loss of schools in damaged communities.

In 2012, 58,500 people were affected by a natural disaster. All families were taken care of and now are back on track thanks to the help from save the children.
