Paris challenge was if any warrior would come out and meet him in single combat. Menelaus came forward and this was not suppose to happen but when he came forward Paris felt scared. Menelaus was about to kill Paris but when he turned around Paris was gone and Aphrodite put on a invisibility clock and took Paris.
