Education

She didn't receive formal education, in which she self-taught herself.  She studied the Bible, history, philosophy, essays, poetry, and took advantage of her father's library.  Her mother and grandmother taught her social graces, homemaking, and handiwork skills.  Lastly, she became an influential leader, a determined political observer, and a profile writer through educating herself.
