The five step approach for managing anger
.) Identify the problem: figure out why you're angry and what you're angry about.
.) Think of the potential solutions before responding: stop for a minute to give yourself time to manage your anger. Think of 3 things you could do.
.) Consider the consequences of each solution: think about what would happen about what you do and if you do them.
.) Make a decision: choose one the things you could do, pick the one that would be the most effective.
.) Check your progress: after the situation is over think about how it went. How did you do?
