The desert

The desert's wildlife are bighorn sheep and mule deer.The vegetation are desert shrub.The land use are towns,mining,oil,and natural gas.

California is separated from states to the east by a wide area of mountains and deserts.In the desert region it is very hot and there is a little rain.Most of California's deserts lie to the east of the mountains.Some of the mountains are also in the desert.California's largest desert is the Mojave desert.It includes Death Valley,which has little water,few plants,and very hot summers.Mostly no one lives there.In the United States,Death Valley has the lowest amount of land.It lies 282 feet below sea level.
