The battle of Lexington and concord was very short for Lexington. 10 to 8 minutes Lexington lasted. When the British reached Lexington , Captain Jones Parker and 75 armed Minutemen were outnumbered by the British. The British were killing 8 minutemen and injured 10 others. While the British solders were traveling to Concord the colonists were finding new hiding spots. When the soldiers arrived to Concord they were only aloud to destroy part of the supplies. When the colonists were beating the British because lots of patriots came to help win the war. These battles are really important because they were the first battles.
