Hotspot Examples #1&#2

This is a mapped version of Mauna Loa. The volcano is located on Hawaii's Big island, Hawaii.

The last time it erupted was in March of 1984.

This is a picture of a geyser erupting in Yellowstone national park. This is caused by the hotspot located underneath Yellowstone and heating up the water.

These are two examples of hotspots in the world.

Hotspots since they're always in one place but the crust is moving can cause island chains or geyser locations to change.
