Dr. Ernest Just was most known for receiving worldwide recognition as a scientist and after receiving his degree Ernest accepted a position at Howard University as an instructor of rhetoric and English and in 1910 later joined the Department of Biology.
Ernest worked at the Marine Biological Laboratory, Stazione Zoologica, Kaiser Wilhelm Institute, and Station Biologique de Roscuff.
Ernest Everett Just died of pancreatic cancer on October 27, 1941. He is currently buried at the the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
