The Cherokee Indians crafted pipe craving, river cane baskets, and pottery. When the Cherokee were forced to move from their home land to Oklahoma,they lost their materials to do such crafts. They adopted beading and textile art as their new crafts.
Cherokee Indians are farmers, the women planted crops like squash, corn, beans, and sunflowers. The men hunted deers, wild turkeys,and fished near the river. They also picked berries and fresh fruits.
