Generativity Vs Stagnation

~ Event 1: I decide to retire from my job as an ER doctor. Retirement seems like a good choice now so that I can spend more time with Elijah, Katherine and Azul. I am satisfied by how my career went and saved up some great funds.

~ Event 2: Katherine goes away for college in order to pursue a career as a veterinarian. I feel a surge of pride due to the fact that our daughter took something she loved, animals, and decided to learn more about it like I did with my love of medicine. Although Kat is getting an education, I feel very sad to be apart from her for so long.
