•The passage of the Wagner Act also gave employees the right to organize unions and prohibited Business leaders from refusing to bargain with certified unions

• The government would act as mediator between unions and businesses

• The Wagner Act would lead to 2000 strikes in 1934 alone

• Strikes were obviously not good for businesses
