Impact in Vancouver

In previous years many people our age were threatened and bullied online. A couple of years ago a girl had her address, name, phone number, and email leaked in a matter of minutes after taking to a stranger. Vancouver and many other cities around the world should have better safety standards to avoid having online threats.

In Vancouver there are some numbers you can call to receive basic help and safety for the Internet. If it's a minor issue it'd be best to talk to a trusted adult. If your in a situation you don't know how to respond to, try asking your teacher for advice. If it gets into a major situation contact a local police department to see if they could help with tracking down the suspect. Don't be afraid to ask for help. The more you leave it aside the worse the problems going to get.
