Broad Leaf

This is a broad leaf zoomed in on 40x and 100x on the microscope. It is brown because the leaf is dying as the tree gets ready for the winter. The bubble you see is just water. The leaf can no longer photosynthesize, so the is no chlorophyll left, and the leaf is not green.
