Reaction rate: the speed at which a chemical reaction proceeds. It is often expressed in terms of either the concentration (amount per unit volume) of a product that is formed in a unit of time or the concentration of a reactant that is consumed in a unit of time.

Heat:Heat is defined as the energy transferred from one system to another by thermal interaction. It is measured in joules (J).

Endothermic & Exothermic reaction: Exothermic- A process that releases energy in the form of heat forming a chemical bond  releases energy and therefore is an exothermic process.Exothermic reactions usually feel hot because it is giving heat to you.Endothermic - a process or reaction that absorbs energy in the form of heat. Breaking a chemical bond requires energy and therefore is Endothermic.Endothermic reactions usually feel cold because it is taking heat away from you.
