The sounds of phones crying hurt her ears. She had talked to dozens of people who where stranded, trapped, and scared just minutes ago. She wondered what would happen to the woman that called, crying as she held her baby, climbing up into her attic, the man who was trapped, trying to punch his was to his attic, and one of her coworkers who called her befor she jumped out of her bedroom window, as her house was taken by the murky waters.
