When listening to the song "Drink a Beer" by Luke Bryan I think of my aunt. This song reminds me of her because it is about Luke losing his brother, and just last year I had lost my aunt, who was my best friend. Her death was sudden and unexpected. It had crushed me when finding out; she was a great person all around. That is why these certain song lyrics stick out to me, "Funny how the good ones go, too soon but the good Lord knows the reasons why, I guess."Watching her being buried I had thought the same things. It still feels unreal, and if I went over to her house I would see her sitting at the kitchen table. This is my favorite song and I could listen to it all day long.
