Writing developed because the messenger of the King Enmerker going back and forth between him and the King of the city of Aratta eventually had to much to remember and so Enmerkar had the idea to write down his messages down and writing was born.


Alphabet was developed by early Cuneiform writers established a system which would completely change the nature of the world in which they lived it made writing easier and more accessible to their cultures basic system of putting symbols down on paper represents words and concepts began much earlier.

Religion and learning Thales is famous for that very claim it is that he studied religion intellectual pursuits were highly valued across the region and schools numerous temples taught reading, writing, religion, law, medicine,and astrology
