Guglielmo Marconi:
An Italian man, whom is given credit as the inventor of radio. He conducted experiments in his attic from sending transmissions from one side of the room to the other.
1920s in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania KDKA was the very first broadcasting radio station. They aired with highlights from the previous election, and in between announcements they would play a phonogram into a microphone. Harding won the election, and modern radio was born into the golden age.
