Who is Euclid?
Euclid was a mathematician from Greece who is commonly known for his book on Mathematics called "The Elements"
Euclid was born around the year 325BC and died around 265BC in Alexandria, Egypt.
Euclid led a team of Mathematicians in Alexandria. Even after Euclid died, his team continued writing new material under his name.
Euclid defined many geometric terms and postulates in his time. Examples are:
"One can draw a straight line from any point to any point" and
"Things equal to the same thing are also equal to each other."
