1. Explain how human waste can affect the biodiversity of an ecosystem. Human waste can affect the biodiversity of an ecosystem by killing the species that live in that ecosystem. Which can affect the food chain in a negative way. One species would die off, then the species that relied on the species that died off would eventually die off as well because it wouldn't have the resource anymore.

3. Explain the effects over-harvesting, mining, and burning fossil fuels has on the lithosphere and atmosphere. Over Harvesting lets out carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and cause erosion in the lithosphere. Mining causes pollution in the atmosphere. For the lithosphere it can cause deforestation. Burning fossil fuels can let out carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. One of it's effect on the lithosphere is that it can cause erosion.

4. Explain the impacts of a growing human population on the natural resources in North Carolina. As the population grows their is a higher demand for natural resources to meet of the need of the people. The rapidly growing human population in the world is having a huge impact on the world natural resources. Like I said above since the population continues to grow more natural resources are needed and eventually we will run out. This is evident in North Carolina as we'll, from 2013 to 2014 95,000 new residents move to North Carolina. As the increasing population in North Carolina continues to grow, the natural resources of North Carolina will continue to deplete.
