Women were responsible for planting,cuitvating

harvesting the corn, squash, beans and sometimes sunflower that were grown. they gathered nuts, berries and roots, and they cooked, smoked or dried all the food.They tanned animal skin and made then into clothes. Sometimes they wove plant fibers into cloth or made clay pots for cooking and storage.
