Started in Rev. Samuel Parris' home where his slave, tituba, taught his daughters witch games,

after Parris caught tituba, soon after his daughters went into hysterics and the doctor claimed them to be bewitched.

Tituba admitted to practicing witchcraft and accused others of also practicing it.
