There were so many things that happened in the 1920s that I will have to be selective. Let me name three important events.
First, in 1929 October 29th, the stock market crashed. It was called black Tuesday. This was the beginning of the great depression. This point is very applicable to us today in view of our economy.
Second, from an entertainment and technology point of view, John Baird creates the first television and in 1928 he creates a color television. As you can imagine, this will be an important development for society.
Third, Charles Lindbergh is the first person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. He went from New York to Paris. This took place in 1927. At creates a big push forward in aviation.
