LSD, or lysergic acid diethylamide, is a hallucinogen  discovered in 1938. This drug is taken in tablets, capsules, or liquid form. When taken, LSD causes the user to hallucinate. Although it is extremely dangerous, LSD is not addictive and users can develop tolerance.
