On October 9, 2012, a gunman shot Malala when she was traveling home from school. As the others have already stated, women in places like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan, have little to no rights. They aren’t allowed to ever go to school (or at least legally go to school.). Ben would also like to comment on Malala. She stood up against the laws and was trying to get back the right of education to girls and in doing so she was shot in the head. Plus for doing that she got a nobel prize for being inspiring and an amazing role model for anyone who is having their rights taken away from them or has ever had their rights taken away from them.
